You may well be aware from press articles that Haverhill in Bloom has been able to attract some new members (although we still need more) to enable it to continue its work around the Town to enhance and improve the environment in which we all live and trade.
One of the projects that Haverhill in Bloom funds is the flower baskets and planters along the railings beside Stour Brook, planters and hanging baskets in the High Street and on the Tesco roundabout. In addition a future project we are looking to undertake is a revamp of the planting in the Market Square near the recently erected flagpoles.
To enable this to happen, as we are sure you will understand, Haverhill in Bloom will need to find way of funding the works. To this end we are looking for sponsorship or donations from local traders and businesses to enable us to maintain and expand the number of baskets and planters in the future to further improve the Town for its traders and inhabitants and to help make the Town a nice place to visit. We are therefore writing to ask whether you would be prepared to make an annual or one off donation to Haverhill in Bloom.
